Babylon Brother: I was a newspaper journalist for 15 years. Most of my experience was at a daily newspaper, where I was a writer and editor. As a writer, I covered law enforcement, and then developed a specialty in transportation -- covering the port, airport and all road and highway construction. I also covered a session of the state legislature and then covered municipal, state and federal courts. As an editor, I worked as a copy editor. I then was named editor of the paper's weekly entertainment tabloid which won numerous awards several years in a row. I later worked as a writer for a weekly business journal covering banking, finance and technology. After my newspaper career ended, I worked in the technology world, managing implementation projects and then doing remote server and application support.
